So last nights True Blood finally cleared up a bunch of questions and concerns, but it also left us with new ones. Where are they going with only three episodes left? It is so hard to believe that there are only three episodes left! This season flew by! While I am sad to see it go, I am very much looking forward to regular Fall programs. Finally, good TV. Anyway back to my thoughts on last nights episode. They finally cleared up the whole baby thing, which you know was bothering me. But for the love of everything holy, it took up the whole episode. It did make me appreciate Lafayette as an actor though. He turned it out! I am so glad it didn?t turn out to be something wrong with the baby. That was just wrong. As for the Sookie, Eric, Bill threesome insinuation. Eww! I have no words. I am curious to see if Eric kills Bill (of course not, no one ever dies in this show) and what happens when/if he gets his memory back. They have left a lot of doors open. In a recent interview, the new mom shared that she?s finally come to a place of contentment with her level of celebrity.

“I’ve tended to be overly self-critical and it’s taken me a while to escape that kind of crippling attitude. You’re constantly putting yourself up there to be judged and trashed. I’ve tried to stop thinking about that, so now I’m much more ready to try different things and be as daring as I possibly can.?

Ryan Gosling is a superstar in his own right, but even someone of his caliber can’t help but be in awe of George Clooney. The two studs are teaming up for a new flick, The Ides of March, in which Clooney is doing double-duty as the star and the director.

So, what did Gosling think of Mr. Clooney? 

"Yeah, he’s dreamy," the Crazy, Stupid, Love. star told New York Magazine.

The actor was so impressed with Clooney’s talents, he took a page from Jay-Z – who likened wife Beyonce to the late great Michel Jackson – and compared Clooney to the King of Pop, as well.

"It was amazing, like watching somebody try to explain a song in their head," Gosling said of Clooney’s directing talent. "I can only compare it to seeing Michael Jackson in This Is It, where he’s trying to explain to a keyboard player how to play a certain part — even in the sea of parts being played, he can pick that out. That’s kind of what George is like. He’s like Michael Jackson, basically."

And if the Michael Jackson comparison wasn’t quite clear enough, Gosling said Clooney reminded him of another entertainment icon.

"He’s like Bugs Bunny," the actor deadpanned. "He’s good at everything, and nothing really fazes him. He’s Bugs Bunny, and I’m Daffy Duck.

What do Britney Spears and Usher have in common? Well, they are both global superstars with a back catalogue of tunes that have kept fans dancing for a really long time and they both recently hooked up with will.i.am for tracks on their latest releases (the Black Eyed Peas mastermind worked on the pop vixen’s Femme Fatale tune “Big Fat Bass”). And, if Spears has her way, she and the “OMG” singer could be hitting the road together.

When Spears sat down to talk with Sway Calloway for her “Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale” special — airing Sunday (April 3) at 9 p.m. ET on MTV — the singer revealed that Usher is first on her list of artists she’d like to join her on tour.

“Oh, I’m so excited. I’m really excited about going on tour, very,” she explained about her forthcoming summer trek, which happens to have a spot open on the bill now that Enrique Iglesias has pulled out of the gig. “I think Usher’s really great right now. I think he’s really hot right now. That would be cool [to tour with him].”

The North American road trip is expected to kick off June 17 in Sacramento, California, and will run for 26 dates, winding up on August 13 in Toronto. More details will be announced soon.

The “Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale” special is a mixture of behind-the-scenes footage of the singer as she wraps up production on her album, which dropped this week, as well as an inside look at her life and fans. In addition, those who couldn’t make Spears’ recent nightclub show in Las Vegas will get to see her as she takes the stage in her latest pop incarnation.

Don’t miss “Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale,” airing Sunday (April 3) at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.

One of the most surprising things to come out of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con was footage from “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.” Everyone knew that the film was roaring down the highway toward us, but no one expected it to actually look, well, good. After scenes from the movie were shown at the event, the Internet was abuzz with talk of fans finally getting the “Ghost Rider” movie they deserve. Now, you can see what all the fuss was about for yourself with the first trailer for the upcoming film.

Based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” is the sequel to 2007′s “Ghost Rider.” The biker with the flaming-skull head has long been one of Marvel’s darker and more twisted characters, especially considering his backstory as a motorcycle daredevil whose pact with the devil didn’t turn out quite as he planned. As the Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze rides America’s forgotten highways, meting out vengeance with his flaming bike, signature chain and a host of fire-based powers.

Like the 2007 film, “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” features Nicolas Cage, and the character boasts a whole new look that ties into the darkness at the Ghost Rider’s core.

“The Ghost Rider is just the coolest-looking superhero, and it has to be the one that goes to film and looks the best,” Cage told MTV News last month. “I think they’ve achieved that with this.”

At the helm of “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” are Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine, the pair of directors best known for their high-octane flicks “Crank” and “Crank: High Voltage.” The duo told MTV News that they were test-driving all-new techniques while filming the movie, including Neveldine strapping on Rollerblades and clinging to the back of a motorcycle just to get a single amazing shot.

That commitment to madness is clearly on display in the new trailer for “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance,” as the movie looks to be fully embracing what makes the character so spectacularly over-the-top. Though it starts out slow, by the one-minute mark, you’ll find yourself up to your leather jacket in explosive, flame-drenched action. Over the course of the trailer, you’ll see the Ghost Rider take out cars with his chain, spit bullets at bad guys and even pee fire. Seriously — he actually pees fire, and it’s absolutely awesome.

He?s never been one to take life too seriously, so when David Letterman received death threats from an Al-Qaeda jihadist his knee-jerk reaction was to joke about it.

The ?Late Show? host returned to the air last night and lobbed several quips about the man who threatened to cut out his tongue.

?We have a great audience night in and night out but honestly tonight you mean a lot to me. You people are more than an audience tonight, really. You?re more like a human shield,? he laughed.

Letterman added, “You’re not going to believe what happened. A guy, a radical extremist, threatened to cut my tongue out. I wish I had a nickel for every time a guy has threatened that. I think the first time was during the [1995] Academy Awards.”

Prior to the taping yesterday, Letterman said he was, “talking to the guy from CBS. We were going through the CBS life-insurance policy to see if I was covered for jihad.”

Having one of the year’s most anticipated albums means fans will eat up any morsel of new info they can get their hands on about its release. Via his Life + Times website, instead of an audio sneak peek, Jay-Z has revealed a visual look into the creation of Watch the Throne in the form of more than 20 photos taken during the recording of his collaborative album with Kanye West.

In the pictures, besides Yeezy and Hova, a number of celebrities are seen milling about as the two hip-hop stars were going about creating their album. Some of the familiar faces include rapper/producer Pharrell Williams and Jay-Z’s wife, Beyoncé.

In one particular photo, Kanye is seen looking down at a yellow pad that appears to have a track list for the album. Earlier this week, the official Watch the Throne track list was also revealed on Jigga’s site.

Watch the Throne was recorded across a few continents, including Europe and Australia. At least some of the photos were taken in New York City’s Mercer Hotel, where parts of the album were recorded and where Jay-Z held an exclusive listening session of the album last week for select media, including MTV News. During the same session, Jay also confirmed that part of the album was recorded at NYC’s Tribeca Grand Hotel.

At the listening event, Jay-Z spoke about being in awe of the people who gathered around the room he was sitting in, much like the assembled journalists, while he and Kanye were creating songs. Some of the notables he remembered stopping by off the top of his head included Academy Award winner Russell Crowe, Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci, who designed the album-cover artwork, and heralded fashion designer Phoebe Philo.

Although the release date is still unconfirmed, Watch the Throne appears to be set to drop August 2.
