We got to see how Beyoncé would “Run the World (Girls)” in her post-apocalyptic video for the song, and then we attended her wedding in “Best Thing I Never Had.” Now Queen B is throwing a “Party” in her latest video, and lucky for us, we’re all invited.

According to reports, Beyoncé headed to New Jersey to shoot the video. ThatGrapejuice.net reported that Beyoncé was hanging with little sister Solange and former Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland and was spotted wearing a fur jacket on set. The song also features Andre 3000, though he wasn’t seen at the shoot.

Rapup.com further reported that the shoot took place at South Brunswick’s Oakdale Mobile Home Park. The site posted photos of Beyoncé from the set in which she wearing a black dress and little black pillbox hat while being driven around in a golf cart. An old-school red muscle car was also spotted on set.

Local website Mycentraljersey.com spoke to some of the area’s residents. “I wasn’t expecting this,” Bill Flaherty told the site. “There’s a lot of good-looking young girls. I’m impressed by the artists doing the painting on the side of the trailer. This is not something that happens every day.”

The video shows some of the area’s charm, and a number of locals were used as extras in the clip. “We had a call last night to be here by 8 a.m.,” the mother of Monica Singleton, an extra in the video, said.

Beyoncé is very busy locking down several videos off her album 4. Videostatic.com reported that Adria Petty, who worked with Beyoncé on her trippy “Sweet Dreams” video, will also work on her “Countdown” clip.

MTV News’ request for comment from Beyoncé’s camp had not been answered as of press time.

Gaga reveals the big news alongside her Little Monsters in Times Square during ‘MTV First: Lady Gaga.’

During “MTV First: Lady Gaga” on Thursday night (August 18), the Mother Monster, joined by a sea of her fans in Times Square, announced that she has the coveted spot of opening the 2011 Video Music Awards.

The Little Monsters, right in the center of the hustle and bustle of Times Square, unfurled a banner that read, “GAGA TO OPEN VMAs!!!,” revealing that Lady Gaga would have the distinction of kicking off the big show Sunday, August 28, when it all goes down live at 9 p.m. at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

“I have a really big announcement,” the New York native told Sway, the same night her “Yoü and I” video made its television debut. “But I thought as usual, instead of me announcing it, I’d let the Little Monsters do it for me.”

Gaga is nominated for four VMAs, including Best Female Video and Best Video With a Message for “Born This Way,” as well as Best Art Direction and Best Choreography for “Judas.”

“It means the world to me,” Gaga said of opening the 2011 VMAs. “I just feel really blessed every day. I have the most amazing fans.”

Lady Gaga first made VMA history back in 2009, when she appeared on the red carpet at Radio City Music Hall with Kermit the Frog as her date. That year, when she wasn’t bleeding onstage during her “Paparazzi” performance, she was winning Moonmen for Best New Artist, Best Art Direction and Best Special Effects.

At the 2010 VMAs, Gaga didn’t perform, but she did reveal her Born This Way album title and a few lines from the title track, taking the stage in a headline-making meat dress. She also arrived at the show in a voluminous Alexander McQueen ball gown while protesting the now-defunct “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. Gaga took home eight Moonmen that night, including Video of the Year for “Bad Romance.”

In 2011, Gaga will certainly have fans talking again as she sets the tone for the entire show.

Stepping out as she readies for her walk down the aisle, Kim Kardashian was joined by sister Kourtney as the pair exited the Four Seasons Hotel in Santa Barbara on Saturday (August 20).

In an unsuccessful attempt to elude the legions of media members, the E! reality stars tried to sneak out the back door of the posh hotel while clad in comfortable white sweatsuits with Kim’s featuring “Mrs. Humphries” embroidered on the chest.

The marital celebration will take place mostly underneath a giant tent to thwart paparazzi coverage – as the nuptials are set to air during a two day special on E! on October 8-9th.

Anyone who’s heard the two first singles off Beyoncé‘s new album, 4, knows they are about as different as night and day. The same can be said for the songs’ music videos: Where “Run the World (Girls)” is fierce, upbeat and explosive, “Best Thing I Never Had” is also strong, but more subdued and slow.

The clip opens with Beyoncé in an elegant dressing room or boudoir. She is scantily, but very tastefully, clad in a fancy, lacy corset/lingerie combo, complete with garters. As she begins the song — co-written by Babyface and all about telling a former lover she was the best he’d ever have and that she no longer has any feelings for him — B plays to the camera, directing her words at the former lover via the camera’s lens.

From there, she moves from playing with a tiara, a veil and lots of tulle on a bed to various stages of getting dressed. Between her half-dressed and fully dressed stages, there is a quick cut to old video footage of who viewers are to believe is a young Beyoncé and her former high school flame at their prom. B and her date are dancing, she is spun away briefly, and her date cozies up to another girl on the dance floor.

Now that we know what ended that romance, we follow a confident Beyoncé in her final preparations before she walks down the aisle on her wedding day. There are shots of Bey singing at sunset atop a grassy hill in a beautiful princess gown, followed by the walk down the aisle and the exchange of vows.

This is followed by one final shot of the former lover at the prom deep in thought, with what looks to be his prom king crown sitting askew on his head. Perhaps he is re-thinking his philandering ways?

The last few scenes of “Best Thing I Never Had” are full of more shots of Beyoncé’s gorgeous dress, which will likely land on a few style blogs soon, given its embroidered and jeweled details, not to mention the silk bows and ruching on the sides. We see the newlyweds celebrating at a happy and well-attended reception: groom removing bride’s garter with his teeth, dancing with their younger family members.

The final shot features Beyoncé looking into the camera, with a look of total satisfaction and happiness. She then walks off confidently, probably to re-join her wedding party and new husband, and then the screen fades to black.

Actress tells MTV News she saw people reading book all over London during filming.

Anne Hathaway knows you have your doubts about her, but she’s ready to impress you with “One Day.”

The actress is no stranger to adapting well-loved literature to the big screen, having starred in “The Princess Diaries” and “Brokeback Mountain.” But having to speak in an English accent and co-helm a romance novel that fans were so protective of certainly put the pressure on when she was filming “One Day.”

Fortunately, the response from fans has been positive so far. MTV News caught up with Hathaway and her co-star Jim Sturgess recently, and “The Dark Knight Rises” actress said that people have received her performance in the flick positively.

“I’ve had people come up to me who have seen it actually and they say, ‘I didn’t think you could pull it off.’ And people feel inclined to tell me that they really had no faith in me whatsoever,” she said with a laugh. “So far, it’s ended with a, ‘But you surprised me, and I really enjoyed your performance.’ But I’m just waiting for that person to come up and say, ‘Well I knew you couldn’t do it.’ ”

She added that the pressure was amplified by the fact that when she and Sturgess were filming in London, Hathaway saw people all across the city reading the book. The cover of the novel’s U.K. edition is orange, and Hathaway said it would freak her out to see “One Day” so prominently featured in every bookstore she walked into.

“At night, it kind of lights the streets of London,” Sturgess joked.

People who want to walk into “One Day” spoiler-free might not be too psyched to hear that both Hathaway and Sturgess say they prefer “ill-fated, tear-inducing” romantic films as opposed to ones that end happily ever after. That news certainly doesn’t bode well for the love story between their onscreen characters.

While Sturgess said he feels that way because he’s “just cynical,” Hathaway explained that she feels tragic romantic stories stay with a person longer.

“If something’s happily ever after, yay, you’re happy for them, but what else do you feel about it? When something rips your guts out, you’re more inclined to remember it,” she explained.
