There is plenty of free websites on how to hypnotize someone... The 'Whatever you want them to do' They have to be in a deep trance. Very deep.

I've caught my brother in a lie before by hypnotizing him.

This is a quick way to do it:

1.
Dim the lights, make sure there are no distracting noises, light a few scented candles.

2. Tell the person to relax, aside from relaxing his or her mind and body, ask them to slowly breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.

3. Have him or her expel all thoughts, worries, concerns

Tell your subject to add colors to each breath and assign a thought, worry or concern to that colored breath, and expel it as he or she breathes out.

4. Have the subject fill up the space created with an imaginary liquid

Now ask him or her to imagine a liquid filling him or her up from the feet slowly all the way up to the head. Tell your subject when the liquid completely fills the head, he or she will feel at ease and completely relaxed.

5. Now you can suggest an idea, thought or action

When your subject is finally in this "trance", you may suggest any desired idea, thought or action. This can be anything -- to give up smoking or a bad relationship, or develop a new attitude towards career, or whatever purpose serves you(As long as it DOESN'T involve harm to them) After allowing the person to dwell in this "happy place", you then bring him or her back.

This type varies on the person and how open they are to hypnosis. It varies.

Very simple to learn it:

Fairly more complicated

The simple answer? You won't.

Hypnosis doesn't turn someone into a mindless zombie. Your not going to make them cluck like a chicken, unless they want to cluck like a chicken. The reason that people are so willing at a stage hypnosis show, is there is a rationalization aspect to it, they have an excuse (i.e. they can blame it on the hypnosis.) It's pretty fun really, those people are the ones that are able to let the "child inside" come out and play.

If your friend is not willing to be hypnotized, there isn't going to be anything you can do to hypnotize them. Even if you did manage to hypnotize them, if you gave them a suggestion that they didn't like, or went against their belief or morals, they would pop right out of that state.

As for inductions, I know many. Some rapid, some longer, some instant, others confusion, overload, permissive, visual, authoritative, Ericksonian, hyperemperia, etc, etc. There are so many different styles that can be used.. The best thing is to match a style that works well for that particular client.

If it is something you want to learn, then I would highly recommend getting some training on the subject (pardon the pun). If not that, I can recommend some books that you could probably find at your local library/bookstore.

I've read alot about hypnotism but never actually read how to do it. I do know you cannot make anybody do anything you want them to do if they wouldn't want to do it.

You cant..
Generally even under hypnosis you wouldn't do anything that deep down you had a problem doing in the first place.
Anyone who says differently is quoting quack science.

During hypnosis our conscious is still intact.
