The Handshake Interrupt Induction Method

Like I said before, Handshake Interrupt Induction Method is a very quick method to hypnotize someone. It is very simple and not that hard to learn. It should go something like this:

Stick out your right hand to shake theirs. As they go to shake it reach over with your left and grab their wrist and bring the hand up about 12 inches from their face. Point at it with your right hand. Say ‘Look at your hand. Close your eyes.’ As you say close your eyes drop your pointing finger down encouraging their eyes to close. Now say. ‘Thats right go inside.’ Or you could give a sharp pull on their arm with yours (be sure not to be too forceful). This jerk on the arm will break the pattern of the handshake and will leave them in a dazed state. Now you will have to make a suggestion such as, “sleep now.”

However there are a few things about the Handshake Interrupt Induction Method that you need to look out for:

  • Notice that all you need to do is a break (i.e. interrupt) the pattern of a normal handshake. So you don’t need to give a sharp pull or tell them to look at their hand. Anything that will interrupt the normal handshake should work.
  • You must be in the right emotional state, if you are anxious, nervous or in another negative emotional state you will sub-communicate this to your subject.
  • To get them in trance you need to go first, enter the emotional state that you want them to be in, this both prevents you from accidentally leading them into a negative state and tainting the hypnotic experience, and allows them to feel more comfortable.

Here is a youtube video, it’s a great example of the Handshake Interrupt Induction Method.
