wait so all you do for the second indudction is the hand you wiggle your fingers on swipes down at a angle while your other arm is pulling his arm down at the same time all while hes looking at your wiggleing fingers? thats pretty cool…and by the way…I subscribed to your webpage ;)

Could somebody please tell me what happens if I forget to keep talking to my subject after I have commanded him to sleep? Because I just tried to do this and I forgot to keep on talking to him and perhaps I might have achieved an instant induction if I had done it correctly. After I told my subject to sleep he closed his eyes and his eyelids began to tremble a bit. Thanks.

    teach me! teach me!

  7. IBDoyle says:

Nathan, do you find that there is a difference in the effectiveness of an induction based on whether or not the subject knows how it works/what’s gonna happen?

Does it make it more or less succesful in your opinion?

    Thanks :)

To even be more correct it’s actually
    Conscious, Preconscious, Unconscious mind.
The critical factor (which we partially disengage specially in clinical hypnosis) is a part that sits in bot conscious and preconscious memory. But those are true technicalities

  16. rdoetjes says:

For a suggestion it doesn’t matter, although some people might find the word unconscious a bit harsh (associated with knocked out). That’s also where unconscious comes from. Your vital physical functions are the only once working.

Clinically seen the unconscious mind is a different “thing” than the subconscious.

In suggestion it’s all the same.

  17. KeysToTheMind says:

there really is no difference between un and sub conscious, just a different same for the same thing, YOUR UNCONSCIOUS, is also a great embedded command.

  18. rdoetjes says:

I perform the hand swipe a bit different I in fact wiggle the other arm from left to right, this adds to confusion and extra processing consciously.
BTW you said unconscious mind, sure you mean subconscious mind.

Your unconscious mind controls the physical aspects of your body. Heart rate, breathing, cell regeneration. The subconscious mind controls suggestion, contains the database, our habits, our instincts.
